Q: I've heard these great sales stories before. Why is EB Security Group so different?
A: Our sales personnel are not just commission based individuals. They play an integral part in our operations. They continue to play a proactive role on day to day expectations and their aim is to bring about one of our key quality/selling objectives and that is "Partnership Working". We will never sell you a service we can't deliver!
Q: Changing security companies is usually so time consuming. How can you avoid this?
A: If allowed by our new clients, EB Security Group can manage the whole implementation/induction programme, and, where applicable, carry out any mandatory TUPE requirements. Our Operations Management team, or where required, the Contracts Business Manager, will endeavour to provide a seamless transition from start to finish. We hope to provide you with peace of mind. We deliver what we agree and if it's not possible, we will tell you and bring about a successful solution.
Q: When I have a problem, I always end up speaking to someone who doesn't know my business and I always need to wait for answers. Will this happen with EB Security Group?
A: At EB Security Group we have our own 24-hour control capability. 365 days of the year. Our Company Directors and Managers are required, as part of their service contract, to be available to deal with your requirements, either directly or via our 24-hour control room.
Q: Why do I see so many different faces in my gatehouse?
A: EB Security Group will provide a dedicated team of security officers specific to your contractual needs. Furthermore, each contract will have a small number of trained officers, who take a proactive attitude to your business needs.
Q: Are you experienced in TUPE?
A: Yes, over a period of many years, we have undertaken numerous TUPE related contracts. Our aim is to minimise your exposure but ensure we meet and surpass TUPE requirements.
Q: I understand your staff are screened, vetted and CRB checked, with S.I.A. licences. How do we know if they meet the required standard?
A: Yes, all our manned guarding staff are correctly screened and vetted. CRB checks are part of the S.I.A. licensing process. As part of our S.I.A. Approved Contractor status, each week our Personnel Department checks the S.I.A. website to ensure all our guards' licences have not expired or been revoked. All our clients are most welcome to visit our Head Office to inspect the personnel files for those officers working at their premises.
Q: The company we use now has a high turnover of security guards, what makes you different?
A: One thing you would have noticed in our transparent costing proposal is the pay rate we offer. With our prospective clients, we ensure we achieve the right pay rates, and we treat all our employees with respect. We pay on time and play a proactive role by offering training and advancement within the company, in our endeavour to increase employee continuity.
Q: When you say new electronic systems can do away with expensive uniformed guards, how do you justify this?
A: As a company, it is one of our responsibilities to reduce our clients' overheads. If, after having conducted a Risk Assessment, the installation of various electronic surveillance systems meets those risks, then yes, such systems can replace the normal day to day manned guarding. Sometimes it can be a mix of CCTV, Intruder and Access Control systems, centre station monitoring and out of hours alarm activation/mobile response. So the answer is not a simple yes, but there are situations where substantial savings can be achieved.
Q: Will your company undertake a trial period?
A: We will accept 1-3 month trial period as long as any start-up costs are recovered.
Q: Do we have to enter into formal quotations and contracts with your company?
A: As an S.I.A. and N.S.I. accredited company, it is a requirement that we complete the necessary documentation to meet the needs of our accreditation. Should you not wish to sign a formal contract, we are sure, by negotiation, that we can meet both our companys' requirements.
